It helped to get back files from a directory I "shared" on the network that never shared properly. I spent three hours to realize my problem was related to ownership and not to process lock. i have 4 xp pcs and 1 windows 7 pc. On the sharing tab, the only entry you Need is: Everyone With permission "Full Controll". Thank you for helping us maintain CNET's great community.
