i got 2 of them in and they both have power but neither will read for sum reason. Click START then RUN. In the Device Manager, any devices with yellow flags need to have drivers installed. If you see an "X", "!", or "?" anywhere in Device Manager, let us know.
Interestly enough, I also have a PCMIA firewire card (6pin firewire input) that recognizes the camera right away, the issue is with the INTERNAL 4pin firewire input on the laptop. Upon re installing said Windows, I tried to connect to the internet via internet explorer after the installation was complete. It happens every few seconds and sometimes... I tried disabling the wireless connection, too, but it doesn't seem to help.

The Local Area and Wireless have "X"'s beside them (they are not connected to the net). I found this fix earlier that works.
